1. Gather your address list.
- I will send the invitations for you, all you have to do is give me your list. I send evites to everyone with email addresses and post card invitations to those who don’t use email.
- You want 10 or more guests in attendance. Remember, about 25% of those you invite will attend. I will take care of the postage and invitations, so invite as many people as you like. MORE IS BETTER, shoot for a guest list of 40 - 50 and you'll have 10 - 12 who can attend.
- Invite friends, neighbors, family, church members, classmate’s parents, sports and work out buddies, work associates and old friends you want to see. Remember, this is a girl’s time out with no presentation involved. It’s just fun mingling with your friends, getting to know acquaintances better and trying on lots of great jewelry!
2. Personal Invitation call.
- You will get more people to attend your show if you personally invite your guests. Please call them after I have sent the invitations and ask if they can attend your show. The day before your show, I will call to remind your guest of the show. All of this will help increase your attendance.
3. Hostess incentives for hosting a party.
- Our incentive plan is one of the best you will find. You earn free jewelry based on the amount and number of orders from the show. With an average show you will earn $250 or more in free jewelry. Many of my Hostessses earn $400 or more when they follow these easy steps.
4. Collecting sales before your party. (Set your goal for 5 orders for at least $200!)
- I’ll send you a few catalogs and order forms. Since many of your guests will not be able to attend your party, this is your chance to allow them to purchase before the party. This is a great way to incease your party sales and earn more free jewelry.
5. Preparing your home for a jewelry party.
- DON'T buy too much food. I suggest two foods, one salty and one sweet, and a fun drink.
- DON'T spend too much time cleaning.
- DO relax and have fun. Your guests will be focused on all the fine sterling silver jewelry, not your home.
6. The show.
- I’ll arrive 1 hour before the show to set up the jewelry display.
- Your kitchen or dining room table is the best display area. It's important to have your snacks in the same area as the jewelry so your guests can eat, mingle and try on jewelry.
- As hostess, you will get to wear several items of jewelry during the show, so be sure to wear a top with an open neck. You want to make sure your guests see how beautiful it looks.
- Remember, your guests will follow your lead, so be sure to stay close to the jewelry table during the evening.
7. After the show.
- Once the show is over, your work is done. All jewelry is individually packed and shipped to each customer.
